Mario Eduardo “Jun” Escario started his career, at a young age of 19, as a part-time designer for a Cebu-based ready-to-wear clothing exporter. He had a short stint as the full-timer designer of En Sepia, the premier fashion house in Cebu, where he mastered his skills in haute couture and dealing with clients. When he decided to open his own shop, he named it Bacchus, which signifies love of life and living well. The fashionistas in Cebu started to notice and soon enough, Jun Escario became a household name.
