Review: Sweet Little Things
If you are craving for some yummy cupcakes to add some sweetness to your long day, then you should head on to Sweet Little Things (SLT).
The first Sweet Little Things branch was located in J Block Building in Apitong Street corner Escario Street, Lahug which is a short walk away from Ayala Center Cebu. They already have another branch in the North Wing of SM City Cebu which is convenient for many customers. One can easily stop by at either branches and fill your sweet cravings.
Sweet Little Things is a small cupcake store that offers customers a wide variety of cute cupcakes to choose from. They boast with using only the fresh and finest ingredients to make their cupcakes. They use real lemon and cocoa, local eggs, and fair trade sugar. You are really assured of the quality cupcakes that you can get.
Among their best sellers are red velvet, cinful apple, flourless mudpie, triple chocolate, lemon poppyseed, and blueberry crumble. Each cupcake costs P55. If you order three cupcakes, you can get them for P158 and P298 for a box of six.
My all-time favorite cupcake from SLT would be the red velvet. I would just drop by their branch near Ayala after getting off from work to relieve myself of stress. Even thinking about their cupcakes makes me want to go there and eat. Aside from their yummy cupcakes, they have really interesting interiors which I personally love. I like the small wooden tables that are really unique. Their main branch at J Block has this cute cupcake calendar that I always flip around. It’s filled with interesting cupcake recipes that you can try out.
I definitely love every cupcake from SLT. They’re affordable and reasonably priced. Aside from that, they are all yummy and perfect with coffee or your favorite milk tea. The service in SLT is also good, especially at their branch in SM City Cebu. Their attendants are really friendly and will easily strike a conversation with you. They can also give you suggestions if you find yourself torn with the pretty cupcakes to choose from.
I couldn’t really find any cons with SLT except that their branches are a bit small. Although it is cozy, you might not be able to eat your cupcakes at the shop when it’s packed with people. They also don’t have coffee and other hot beverages which are perfect match for the sweet cupcakes. They do have other beverages that you can order, though.
I would definitely give 5 stars to SLT for all their yummy cupcakes, especially for their affordability. I would also give 5 stars for their locations, since both are convenient for their customers. Since the place is a bit small, I’d give it 4 stars.
