Families would opt to go out-of-the-country. Our family would rather visit the Philippines. On a weekend, coinciding with my nephew Kyle’s 7th birthday, we fly to Cebu. Very interesting. It’s my third time, and ever, will I enjoy each visit every time. Especially, near the Lapu-Lapu Shrine, which is, Su-Tu-Kil. With my family, we had a must-stop lunch here, before our tryst at the Be Resorts, which is well situated as it is only five minutes away. I went straight ahead to Manna, as this where we went with my bosses the last time I was in Cebu. It is still very much the same, except for the air-conditioned room they have now at the first floor. It still is teeming with people, who were celebrating their birthdays also. My mom had a blast, I could see it in her face that she is as excited too. The experience is knew to her, or is it just we’re in Cebu (though we have this one similar back in Pampanga?;). But with the different colors of the fishes which abound the market area of Manna is just enough to keep visitors and/or its guests enthralled. It is a modest place, which felt like home - with its splendid food, and enchanting people. bowl chopstick Our nanay is a stickler for sanitation. But we had her convinced that this place is indeed free of rodents, hehe. Kidding aside, you could see that the owners of the place do see to it that they maintain the place spic and span. Considering that it was built on sawali, or aboriginal materials, and situated near the water, where it is possible to smell its muckiness. I must note that, I’ve been here during the staging of the ASEAN Business Conference, and I came back for our family bonding retreat, and as always, it is at all times - a pleasure, coming back for more.
