Sunburst

Sunburst Fried Chicken was founded in 1971 under the name of A & C Chicken and Pizza House. It started with initially four tables to ten tables then to 25 tables under its new name, Sunburst Fried Chicken. As the name of the restaurant implies, its specialties are crispy and delectable fried chicken dishes. They also serves other Filipino dishes like chopsuey. To complete your dining experience at Sunburst Fried Chicken, you can also try its Fried Chicken Skin as appetizer because it is really tasty and delicious. What makes Sunburst Fried Chicken distinct from the competition is its very crispy skin, and it isn’t very salty to boot. So, when Filipinos think of Filipino-style fried chicken, Max’s Fried Chicken comes to mind, and deservedly so. There is, however, another Philippine restaurant in this category that serves an equally deliciousfried chicken meal, and is worthy of special mention: Sunburst Fried Chicken. Today, it has 10 franchised outlets located in Cebu, Tacloban, Cagayan de Oro City, Pagadian and Dipolog City with the original restaurant in Iligan City as the only remaining company-owned restaurant.
