Gotta Love Bigbys!

I’m a self-confessed Bigby’s fan.  If ever there is an occasion, whether it is my birthday, my sibling’s birthday, my cousin’s birthday, my friend’s graduation, my folk’s anniversary or by dog’s baptism (or something), I always insist on going to Bigby’s.  Actually, I am not in any way affiliated to Bigby’s, nor are they paying me to promote them.  I wouldn’t mind a gift certificate there, though. LOL.

Okay, I have four favourite Bigby’s dishes.  The first one is the salad with the prate thingie.  I actually don’t remember it’s name, but I’m referring to the dish below:

I love it.  Especially the gravy.  Although it is way too light for me (Yes, I am a huge eater).  If you ever want a light snack or even a light lunch or dinner, this dish would be just right for you.

I am not big on salads, but since my folks love this salad at Bigby’s, I started enjoying it too.  It is certainly not your typical, boring Caesar’s salad or something like that.  This one has a distinct cheesy taste.  It is loaded with cheese, lots of crunch garlic bread bits and a generous heap of tuna mayo on top.  You will love it, for sure.  The price is actually quite light on the budget.  If I remember correctly, this salad costs less than P150.

Then here is the Bigby’s breaded pork with barbecue sauce.  Forgive me again for forgetting it’s actual name.  But it’s the breaded pork with the barbecue sauce on the picture.  You can’t miss it.  Haha.  Actually, I love this dish because it’s stuffed with pork, and not just with flour.  It’s just the right crunch with just the right salty taste.  Oh, and the barbecue sauce... heavenly!

And finally, my all-time fave.  The fish fillet with tartar sauce.  Yes, yes, it seems like a common dish, but come on, if it is by Bigby’s, there ought to be something special with it.  And for this dish, it is the fish and the flour.  So buttery, so tasty, so crunchy.  And it is not oily at all.

I’ve been eyeing their seafood pasta, so maybe next time, I’ll blog about it.  Until then.
