MANILA, Philippines - Former president Gloria Arroyo had her fingerprints and mugshots taken at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Taguig City on Saturday while under police guard after being arrested on electoral sabotage charges.

Arroyo, who was wearing a neck brace, underwent booking procedures inside her hospital room at around 2 p.m.

Former first gentleman Jose Miguel “Mike” Arroyo, several family members and friends of the Arroyos were in the room during the booking procedure.

The booking was facilitated by Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit Senior Superintendent Joel Coronel.

Arroyo was seated in an upright position and was wearing a hospital gown when she was booked, according to Coronel.

Coronel said Arroyo's documents were sent to Camp Crame in Quezon City for processing. He said the mugshots will be released on the court's discretion.
