Imperial Palace Waterpark Resort and Spa Review

Have you been to Imperial Palace Waterpark Resort and Spa? This beautiful relaxation place is located at Maribago in Lapu-lapu City, Cebu. Since the Philippine government wanted an expansion of the tourism sector, Philippine BXT developed the resort. Now, it is enjoyed by both tourists and locals alike.

We got to stay in a garden suite, which was quite spacious. Definitely a lot bigger than most of Cebu’s premier hotels. It is a suite so there is a living room a small kitchen, a large bedroom and a very large bathroom with tub! All the amenities you need are there. TV, microwave, water heater, thermos, phone, kitchen counter and more! The bathroom was pretty awesome. The tub was unbelievably large.

The view from the living room balcony was so relaxing, overlooking the pool and the beach. Cable TV and internet is provided in each room. Imperial Palace also allows you to bring foods bought from outside the hotel without corkage fee so if you want to bring your own dishes, you can do so.

The pool and the slides were unlike anything else in Cebu. There were three really high slides to choose from. It looks scary from afar but you will really enjoy it. The pool is quite big and they offer floaters too. If you prefer the breeze from the beach, you can walk towards the shore. The shore is lighted at night for safety.

They have a spa (which is really expensive), a gym and a kid’s play house. We tried the Familia Buffet which did offer a lot of different dishes at roughly P1,000/+ per person. Try their Japanese and Italian offerings. You surely won’t regret it.

The service from the staff was not as good as in Crown Regency. So I would give it 3 out of 5 stars. However, for the cleanliness of the ambience and the overall experience, I give it 5 out of 5. The price is a little steep too so better wait for promotions.
