Planning To Use DigitalOcean Spaces? Real, Yet Not So Good Experience!


"Jack of all trades, master of none", I'm somewhat incline to say that Digital Ocean is heading this way. Or least in the S3 business.

This article is NOT against Digital Ocean, rather this is merely to share the experience with DO Spaces' service.

Same Location Yet Unsatisfactory Performance

The ping response is good, averaging just below 35ms. A good sign as DO's endpoint is on the same location of the calling application. Yet, most of the time when I'm at the spaces console I can't stop myself from singing
