Five Affordable Valentine’s Day Suggestions in Cebu

Valentine’s day is almost here and a lot of you are probably considering various romantic places you can go to without breaking the bank. Here are some of our suggestions:

1. 
   Karaoke Lounges. Cebu has a lot of karaoke lounges. Some of them even open up to 3am so you can really sing your lungs out. Queue some love songs, wine, beer or whatever floats your boat and this could be one memorable, romantic Valentine’s day celebration. Rates range from P150 to P499.


2. 
   Joyride. Drive ‘round south or north – whichever way you feel like going. There are so many sights to see along the way: mountains, trees, old churches, historical structures and of course the sea!


3. 
   Head to the Mountains. You can go to Mountain View Nature’s Park in Busay. They have a botanical garden, viewing decks, a mini zoo, swimming pool and camping sites. The entrance rate is P50 per person. Or you can go hiking at Osmena Peak. The serene view would be an awesome way to celebrate the day.


4. 
   Move! If you both love sports, have fun! Go jogging at IT Park or at the Cebu City Sports Complex. Or spend a day together at the gym.


5. 
   Food.Food is the center of nearly all Cebuano special celebrations. But it doesn’t have to be expensive. I’m pretty sure you can order a few of both of your favorite foods and have a feast at home while watching a romantic flick. Or you can have a buffet lunch or dinner and eat to your heart's content.
