Pinoy Recipes: Inun-unan na Isda (Bisaya ni 'Bay)


Inun-unan na Isda is fish cooked with vinegar and spices.

Here are the steps in making Inun-unan.

Prepare the Ingredients

  • ½ kilo fish
  • ½ cup vinegar 
  • Salt and seasonings
  • Garlic
  • Onions
  • Ginger
  • Green Chili


  1. Chop or mince the garlic, onions, and ginger.

  2. Place the fish on the skillet.

  3. Add the garlic, onions, ginger and green chili.

  4. Put the vinegar and seasonings.

  5. Heat it in medium heat until the fish is cooked.

This dish is can last up to 2 days because of the vinegar that preserves the freshness of the dish.
